About the site

Back in 2003, I helped Marc launch www.iPAQabilities.com (now defunct), a site focused on HP’s PDAs. My role was to design the site and develop new functionalities (example, deploying the forums). Over time though, I got involved with first writing some reviews and then the daily news. And to my surprise, I found that I enjoyed it! Gadgetorama is the result of my desire to cover more news and gadgets than just iPAQs.

Marc and I had talked about expanding coverage over at iPAQabilities.com but with him so busy, I decided to strike off on my own. And so, on January 5, 2005, Gadgetorama launched officially. Its mandate focuses on mobile devices, such as Windows Mobile PDAs and smartphones, Google Android, the iPhone, and more. I will also report on other cool gadgets (iPods and other home entertainment toys, for example).

Enjoy the site!
