HTC One VAs promised, Koodo today launched the HTC One V, the entry level model in its HTC One lineup.

Koodo is offering the HTC One V for CA$25 with the Koodo Tab or on sale for CA$175 outright. Add a CA$50 Visa gift card when you buy online and you have quite the price for this Android 4.0 device.

HTC One VThe rumours were true. Koodo Mobile yesterday announced via Facebook that it will launch the HTC One V on June 1st.

If you’re an Android geek, you’re going to love the smooth browsing and fast social networking on the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Details about the HTC One V will be out on June 1st – stay tuned!

Koodo has not announced pricing but expect it to come in below CA$300 with no contract.

SaskTelSaskTel today announced via Twitter that both the HTC One V and the Samsung Galaxy HD LTE are now available. Short and sweet:

The Samsung Galaxy SII HD LTE & HTC One V are now available at SaskTel!!! bit.ly/IVsTbr bit.ly/IVsTbv

The former is more of an entry-level device running Android 4.0 while the latter, a higher-end device, is LTE-ready for SaskTel’s LTE network launch and will run on HSPA+ until then.

SaskTel is offering the Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE for CA$129.99 with a three-year contract, CA$469.99 with a two-year contract, CA$219.99 with a one-year contract or CA$569.99 with no contract. The HTC One V is free with a three-year contract, or CA$169.99 with a two-year contract, CA$519.99 with a one-year contract or CA$269.99 with no contract.

HTC One VHTC today announced that its HTC One V is headed to “a variety of US partners this summer.” It did not provide further details as to which carriers would offer HTC’s entry level One series device.

HTC also did not provide any details as to pricing and specific availability details. Individual carriers will make their own announcements instead.

HTC will showcase the One V at CTIA which is taking place this week.

HTC One VAnother Canadian carriers looks set to soon be offering one of HTC’s new One series devices. A screenshot obtained by MobileSyrup shows that the HTC One V is headed to Koodo Mobile. The move should not come as a big surprise as it will also be offered by TELUS, Koodo’s parent company.

HTC One V coming to Koodo?

There is no word yet on availability or pricing (although it may come in under CA$300).

HTC OneA press release has confirmed that HTC’s new HTC One smartphones are all coming to Canada. Bell Mobility, Fido, Rogers Wireless, TELUS Mobility, and Virgin Mobile Canada are all listed among the worldwide carriers that will offer HTC’s latest devices.

HTC’s website also provides some details as to which carrier will offer which HTC One model:

Specific Canadian availability details are not available yet but the HTC One series will begin shipping in April with “broad global availability available beginning in April.” Pricing was also not announced.
