There are teasers and then there are teasers. The best ones get you talking and HTC has succeeded with its latest one. Rather than trying to describe what HTC Germany sent out, I’ll let the image below do the speaking:

TC "Alive Soon" teaser

The caption “Alive soon” could be reference to HTC’s upcoming February 19th event where it is expected to unveil its latest flagship, the HTC M7. Then again, with no date on the teaser, it could be for something completely different as well. As for the significance of a heart fused to a circuit board to the world of gadgets, your guess is as good as mine.

Any thoughts?

Nokia has released two more teasers, ‘Stay Tuned’ and ‘Nearly There,’ ahead of its announcement tomorrow. The announcement, with Microsoft in attendance, is expected to be all about Nokia’s new Windows Phone 8 smartphones (including the rumoured Lumia 920 and Lumia 820).

Like the first one, the teasers reveal little but the first shows shop ratings and deals superimposed on stores as a woman walks by. Could it be a teaser for Nokia’s City lens augmented reality app? Either that or Nokia is about to go into the shoe business…

Nokia will livestream the event for those who will not be in New York to catch it in person.

Ahead of a joint September 5th press conference with Microsoft, Nokia has released a teaser video that promises that “things are about to change.” Needless to say, little is revealed.

The video appears to have been shot with a camera phone. Did it use one of the new Windows Phone 8 smartphones it is expected to unveil at the event? And could one or even more come with Nokia’s PureView camera technology (first seen on the Nokia 808 PureView)? After all, none other than Nokia’s CEO hinted back in June that this could happen soon.

Nokia’s September 5th event promises to be quite interesting…

As expected, the countdown at tgeltaayehxnx.com (an anagram for “TheNextGalaxy”) ran down and thenextgalaxy.com went live. A teaser video is now live but reveals precious little. It ends promising that that the next Galaxy will let you “stand out from everyone else,” and suggesting that “everyone else” is sheep (does that include Samsung older device owners?).

Samsung will unveil its “Next Galaxy” device on May 3rd at its next Samsung Unpacked event.

Update: TheNextGalaxy.com and tgeltaayehxnx.com are both down. Unprecedented interest in the next Galaxy or the sheep rising to voice their displeasure?

Samsung today continued to build up the hype to its May 3rd event for the “Next Galaxy.” Early today it sent a short mysterious tweet: “Destination: tgeltaayehxnx.” It turns out that “tgeltaayehxnx” is an anagram for “TheNextGalaxy.” If you visit the website tgeltaayehxnx.com, you will be greeted with a countdown to “the next step”:

As for what will be revealed once the countdown runs out, stay tuned… Perhaps we will be redirected to thenextgalaxy.com/ which only prompts for a username and password right now. Perhaps a teaser video?
